The Department has the following facilities at its disposal to enhance teaching and learning. The state of the art laboratories such as
Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory
Molecular Biology Laboratory
Plant Pathology and Microbiology Laboratory
Plant Virology Laboratory
Weed Science Laboratory
Entomology Laboratory and
Nematology Laboratory
The Department has for its use about 50 hectares of research fields with irrigation facilities at Fumesua. These facilities are actively being used through out the year to promote research by the parent institution. This enable students to have the opportunities to learn on the field all year round. The Department also has a guest house to accommodate foreign students though the course is basically non-residential.
