Dr. Ephraim Sekyi-Annan is a Research Scientist at Soil Research Institute (SRI) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Kumasi, Ghana, and a Lecturer in the Department of Soil Resources Management at the CSIR College of Science and Technology (CCST), Kumasi, Ghana. He has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn, Germany where his dissertation focused on improving water management in reservoir-based irrigation schemes in northern Ghana. He obtained an MSc degree in Water Resources Engineering and Management, and a BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering, both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. Dr. Sekyi-Annan has research interests in Agricultural Water Management, SAWAH System for Lowland Rice Production, Integrated Rice-Fish Farming System, Climate Change Adaption, Soil Erosion Monitoring and Control, and Crop Water Productivity Modelling. He has to his credited, twenty-nine (29) publications including journal papers, conference papers, a book, a book chapter, manuals etc. His career objective is to contribute to the conservation of soil and water resources for sustainable crop production in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa at large.
